Summer holidays for most are about relaxing and refilling exhausted energy tanks. For Clarence, they involved an August business trip that took him to the dynamic Gulf region, Djibouti, New York, Los Angeles and Suriname, sharing the magic of the Champions League trophy and spreading the image of AC Milan far and wide.

"Abu Dhabi and Dubai are probably two of the hottest development areas in the region”, says Clarence. “I am also impressed by the passion for football and the desire to become a major international power in the world of football.”

Throughout a three-week world tour, Seedorf spoke with possible partners and associates, while looking for a location for his ON Champion Development project and his Football Centre of Excellence.

As an official ambassador of AC Milan, he inspired fans around the world by giving them the chance to touch the Champions League trophy. And from presiding at the opening of the Djibouti National stadium to being awarded the Commander of the Yellow Star by the President of Suriname, Clarence’s own cup continues to fill with special experiences and honours.
